Hi all,

Council members don't know what will be on the agenda for any Tuesday Council meeting until the Wednesday before when we can pick up our packet of material late in the afteroon. I usually thumb through the agenda fairly quickly and try to decide what the "Issue of the Week" will be for the coming meeting. This is the issue that either is most important to me, or the issue that may generate the most interest from the public or media. Sometimes I get it right, sometimes I'm surprised.

I have created a blog to share with you my "Issue of the Week" a few days before each County Council meeting. I hope to have that issue posted there fairly soon after I pick up my packet, and will add information to the page as I gather information to help make whatever decision is required on the issue. Hopefully this will provide you some insight into the issue, an opportunity to provide me with more information, and a window into my decision making process. Please remember that anything you post or send me is public information and can be requested by any member of the public and I may also choose to share it
